New Age IT didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in a house in Tonganoxie, Kansas, where one generation spent decades solving hard technical problems and another grew up watching—then helping—then building.

We serve small businesses across Leavenworth County, Lawrence, and the Kansas City area. Our job is to keep your systems running, your data protected, and your team supported—so you can focus on what you actually do.

Co-Founder

The Experience

With over 35 years in software engineering, our co-founder has worked through every major generation of computing—from the early days of personal computers through client-server systems, the commercial internet, and into the cloud-first infrastructure businesses depend on today.

A DeVry University graduate, he has spent a career building, maintaining, and troubleshooting the systems that organizations rely on. That breadth of experience doesn’t live in a resume. It shows in how we approach problems—with patience, historical context, and the understanding that most issues aren’t new, even when they feel like they are.

When his son started showing a serious interest in technology, the idea of building something together made natural sense.

Growing up surrounded by computers has a way of making technology feel intuitive rather than intimidating. What started as curiosity—watching, asking questions, picking up skills from a father who could fix almost anything with a terminal—turned into something real.

Inspired by decades of example and driven by a genuine interest in how technology serves real businesses, pursuing a career in IT wasn’t a decision so much as a direction that was always clear. The hands-on work, the client relationships, the problem-solving—it all fits.
